LIGR users can now easily design professional sports broadcast assets using Canva’s powerful design tools – all without leaving the LIGR.Live platform.
LIGR has worked with Canva to integrate its online visual communications and design platform with LIGR.Live and give LIGR users direct access to Canva’s design templates, drag-and-drop features and endless library of stock images. The Canva integration is part of LIGR’s mission to become the only all-in-one sports broadcast solution. That means providing sports organizations and rights holders with all of the tools they need to plan, manage, produce, and monetize their live broadcasts.
“Design software can be expensive and difficult to use. We wanted to make it as easy as possible for our users to design ad campaigns or custom graphics and not have to worry about image sizes, file formats, or sourcing stock imagery,” said LIGR CEO Luke McCoy. “This integration with Canva means our users can now quickly design high-quality graphics without leaving the LIGR.Live cloud-based environment.”
Canva can be used within LIGR.Live to design and create ad sets to display during live sports broadcasts and multimedia graphics – a feature that allows LIGR users to display non-standard graphics of any size during broadcasts, such as player of the match graphics, career statistics, or promotional graphics. The Canva integration will be rolled out platform-wide in the near future.
To design a new ad set using Canva, LIGR users can create an ad set in the usual way within the ads section of the LIGR.Live platform, then just hit the “Create with Canva” button next to each ad size. The button opens up a template file with the correct dimensions and resolution settings, so all users need to do is create their design using Canva’s endless library of stock images and user-friendly design tools, then save the file directly to their LIGR account. No uploading, no fuss.
