NZ Broadcaster Cellosport Ramps Up LIGR-Powered Broadcasts

Over the next two seasons, New Zealand-based sports broadcaster CelloSport plans to expand its use of LIGR's sports production software to broadcast more than 1,500 live matches annually across multiple sports. This follows a successful trial where CelloSport broadcast 50 games to YouTube from New Zealand s Lotto National U19 Football Championship.

CelloSport, backed by telecoms company Cello, leverages Pixellot s AI-powered automated camera technology. The team used LIGR's LiveScore app to score games, enabling access to automation features like automated highlights and integrated advertising.

Clips are automatically posted to social channels with auto-generated captions or manually posted immediately after matches. LIGR Live enables CelloSport to integrate sponsor ad campaigns across tournaments with minimal effort.

LIGR is a cloud-native broadcast graphics overlay platform for live sports. The platform enables automated, zero-operator production across football, cricket, basketball, tennis, rugby league and more — powering 4,000+ matches annually for organisations including Football Australia, DAZN, Tennis Australia, the AFL, and the QRL.
