Delivering the WTA Tour's on-air graphics from the cloud
LIGR moved the WTA's full on-air graphics chain onto one cloud platform — designed in Rive, configured in Fuse, driven by official tour data through Crionet, and operated remotely across the 2026 calendar.

The Challenge
Tour-level tennis is one of the hardest graphics environments in sport: dozens of events across multiple continents, several courts running at once, point-by-point data that never stops, sponsor obligations that change per event and per feed, and broadcast partners who each expect their own branded output.
The WTA's legacy tooling did the job but was operator-heavy, hard to learn and tied to on-site workflows. The brief: move the whole graphics ecosystem to the cloud — without losing the reliability a world tour demands.

How It Works
Live across the 2026 WTA calendar — Strasbourg, Rabat, ‘s-Hertogenbosch, Berlin, Nottingham, Bad Homburg and Eastbourne, plus the WTA 125 in Palermo — covering centre and outer courts at selected events.

Ingest
Official WTA point-by-point scoring via Crionet's Match Scorer, streamed through a custom LIGR adapter into the LIGR match engine — score states, tie-breaks, break points, set points and match points, live.

Design & configure
The full WTA package — scorebug, stats, draws, order of play, head-to-heads, doubles formats and sponsor graphics — designed in Rive and configured in Fuse. Themes are versioned and library-managed, so sponsor variants are theme instances, not rebuilds.

Control — three modes
A browser Control Room with live playlists and pre-match sequences; the Control Room API driving Crionet's UNOtouch touch-screen production system; and GamePlan automation firing graphics off the run of play — aces, break points, set points, match points.

Output
LIGR's multi-overlay architecture runs a WTA world feed and broadcaster-specific feeds from the same match at the same moment — each with its own branded look and sponsor set.

Content
At the WTA 125 in Palermo, LIGR also cut highlights and built compilations from the same data-driven pipeline that powers the live graphics.
Reliability by Design
Graphics can never go down
If the primary feed fails, the operator switches the match to manual scoring inside the Control Room and the graphics keep running, uninterrupted. When the feed recovers, LIGR's reconciliation layer removes the manually entered facts and catches the match back up from the official data automatically — no restart, no mismatch. Proven in live tour production.
