Out-of-the-box Themes: broadcast graphics for eleven sports, zero design time

Pick a theme, a colour, a typeface and a texture. Drop the scorebug where you want it. Every graphic in the package is styled, positioned and driven by the live score — nothing to design, nothing to key in on air.

LIGR scorebugs for eleven sports, each in a different out-of-the-box theme

Eleven sports, eleven looks — every scorebug rendered from the production Rive files with real match states.

Design hours to get on air

The problem with graphics packages

Broadcast-grade graphics used to mean one of two things: a design agency and weeks of lead time, or a template pack that looks like every other stream on the platform. Leagues below the top tier — state competitions, national federations, college conferences, club channels — mostly settled for the second, or for no graphics at all.

Out-of-the-box Themes removes the trade-off. The package is built in Rive by LIGR's design team, every variable is exposed to the platform, and the data binding is done once, centrally. A competition can be on air with a bespoke-looking, data-driven package the same afternoon it sets up its first match.

Every Variable, Exposed

Six controls. 588,000 looks.

The same six style controls sit on every scorebug and they stack: 8 themes × 25 colours × 14 textures × 7 typefaces × 5 edge treatments × 6 animations. Across eleven sports that is 6.5 million on-air combinations from one panel — before team badges, competition logo, sponsor panel or your own texture image.

Eleven Sports, Live

The functions each sport actually needs

Each clip below is the production file reacting to a data event — a goal, a basket, a set point, a penalty — rendered at authored speed. No operator triggered anything.

Goals, behinds and totals with the scorer's name

More Than a Scorebug

The whole show, one theme

Football ships with the full-frame set in the same theme family, so a broadcast runs end to end from one package: lower third, match ident, match stats and team list all take the theme, colour, texture and typeface you chose for the scorebug. Shown here in Theme 3, Navy, Stars, Turbohaus — the same look as the scorebug above, rendered from the production files with generic squads.

Lower third

Name, team and event line with the team badge — swaps text live for goal, assist, card or interview.

Match ident

Competition, teams, venue and a live kick-off countdown; flips to the score once the match is under way.

Match stats

Eight stat rows, both teams, from the data feed — possession to pass accuracy.

Team list

Starting XI, substitutes, captain and keeper markers, coach line — home and away in one graphic.

Under the Hood

How it works

Eleven sports, one control panel

The same six style controls on every scorebug, so a multi-sport league sets its look once and every sport inherits it.

Driven by the score, not an operator

Every value is data-bound. Goals, cards, substitutions, points and period changes come from the feed and fire the right extension — including in fully automated productions.

Size it, place it

Scale, X and Y controls on every bug. Shrink it for a vertical stream, push it clear of a sponsor board, or blow it up centre-frame — pixel-sharp at any size because it is vector.

Your brand, your sponsors

Team badges, competition logo and a 1000 × 200 sponsor panel are slots on every bug; add your own texture image for a fully owned look.

Rendered live by the Rive Renderer

Soft shadows, feathering and blend modes render exactly as designed — in the browser, on air, in real time.

Same package for every match

Designed once by LIGR's team, versioned centrally. A new competition needs a theme choice and a data source, not a design brief.

In LIGR

Set up in four steps

01

Pick the sport

Each sport's package carries its own live functions and stats extension — choose it and the rest of the panel adapts.

02

Choose the look

Theme, colour, texture, typeface, edges and animation — the preview updates live as you click through the 588,000 combinations.

03

Position and size

Drag the scorebug into place and set its scale for the output you are producing — 16:9, vertical or a custom frame.

04

Add identity

Team badges, competition logo, sponsor panel and a custom texture if you want one. Save to the competition and every match inherits it.

Just the Beginning

The library grows from here

Today

Eleven sports, eight themes

The packages on this page are the first release: every scorebug, extension and full-frame graphic here is in the product now.

Next

More sports, more looks

The plan is the largest database of premium-quality, out-of-the-box sports broadcast packages anywhere — new sports, new theme families and new full-frame sets added continuously, all data-bound the same way.

Then

Outside designers welcome

Over time the library opens to packages from outside designers, built to the same Rive and data-binding standard, so a league can pick from many studios and still run it from one Control Room.

Beyond the Box

When you need your own package

The same engine runs fully custom packages: the WTA Tour's 18 graphics, the Australian Championship's 36, DAZN's 27-graphic National League re-brand for 2026-27. Custom themes are designed once in Rive, bound to the same data, and operated from the same Control Room — see the WTA, Australian Championship and DAZN case studies — or the Custom Broadcast Packages highlight for how a package is built.
