LIGR into Cloudmix (Cloud Vision Mixer) Off-Site
The NBL came to LIGR needing to produce a high-quality live stream of their pre-season NBL Blitz tournament (12 games across 3 days) that compared with their linear TV product while utilising the Genius Sports FIBA Live Stats data in stream.
The live streams needed to run brand campaigns for the Victorian Government and Bendigo and Ballarat cities, with the games being pushed to Twitter and the NBL.TV app. The entire production needed to be cost effective and efficient.
LIGR produced the 12 games completely automatically, while running automated brand campaigns with the final feed being pushed to Twitter and the NBL.TV app without a hitch. It was a resounding success, with each game averaging over 30,000 live views across Twitter, accumulating in a very strong audience over the 3-day tournament. The live content was also was pushed live to the automated highlight platform, WSC Sports, with fast delivery to Twitter, further increasing the audience engagement during and post game.
“For the first time, the live streams will use Live Graphic Systems (LIGR) cutting edge technology to deliver an automated live production that maximises engagement with fans and allows streaming from regional locations”
