Hi, I’m Luke and this is Adam.
Before starting LIGR, I was in live sports production. While working on like games across Australia, I realized there was no viable solution for smaller teams, clubs, and schools to produce professional live sports broadcasts
Hardware is expensive, software is difficult to master. Skilled staff are needed every step of the way. Matching TV production levels costs thousands of dollars – and that’s per game.
I wanted to solve this problem with a solution that
allowed anyone, anywhere with even the smallest budget, to create beautiful sports broadcasts.
That’s when I reached out to my longtime friend Adam Burke. Together we started LIGR. After bootstrapping LIGR for two years profitably, we decided the world needed to see our solution. To do that we needed capital and experienced investors to build a game-changing solution for the industry – and that’s exactly what we did.
LIGR is pronounced “liger” – like the lion-tiger hybrid big cat. You can read about how we came up with the name here.
